Turns out CAVS 12U (well, half of them, anyway) and their die-hard parents braved Carmageddon and stomped it out in the Hardcore Hoops Tournament in Los Angeles, July 16th-17th, 2011. Yep. You may as well know it.
CAVS 12U brought home their 12th consecutive championship win since April 2nd, 2011!! GO CAVS 12U!!!
Under the coaching direction of Mike Irving and Sean Regans, only six CAVS ballers went to battle this weekend (from L to R): Coach Mike Irving, Anthony “Julius” Rucker, Cameron Townsend, Mike Irving, Jr., Taj Regans, Coach Sean Regans, Brian Devereaux and Colden Davis. The remaining, usual CAVS suspects were either out of town or just busy elsewhere. Didn't matter, though.
These six handled their business and brought the championship home.
At this time, there are no additional photos or details to report. Not really saying that to tick you off; we just don’t have anything else to give you.
Next stop for the masses….it’s the last tournament of the CAVS Official Travel Season and it's BIG. It's the Las Vegas Classics, starting July 27th!! Or, will the mighty CAVS divisions show up in yet another surprise tournament next weekend?

P.S. Carmageddon was actually CarmaHEAVEN. There was absolutely no traffic for our parents to get to the tournament. Didn’t you know? Nobody told you? The REAL Carmageddon begins on Monday - now that the 405 is open again!!
